Essential Oil for cold and flu

Tis the season to get sick. There are 6 of us and half of us are out in public most of the day picking up all those nasty germs.

I've been sick for the past 5 days and yesterday I woke up with a sinus infection and I really thought I would have to go to the doctor.
I came across this site  that had good information on essential oils.
I used peppermint oil, tea tree oil, and eucalyptus oil in a steam with a towel over my head two time yesterday. I could feel the infection had drained out of my sinuses in to my lymph node in my neck. All night I softly rubbed my neck down ward to help move the fluid out. By the time I went to bed I was feeling much better! This morning I woke up still a little sore but so much better than yesterday. I'm glad I didn't go to the doctor to get pills!

I've got peppermint soap and eucalyptus soap so you can steam up in the shower!

it works!

Well it's been 3 days and I don't stink ...(there are people around me who would let me know) I'm very surprised how well it works! You have to get use to using it the coconut oil that holds it all together, it melts with skin contact, so you don't need to put as much on as you do with store bought deodorant . so if you want to try it (and you should): 1/4 c. baking soda 1/4 c. cornstarch and 10 drops tea tree oil (it's cleansing) you can just use that in a powder or add 2 + Tab. of coconut oil for a stick ( I melted my coconut oil in the microwave) mix it all together smash it in to an old deodorant container... Coconut oil is hard at room temperature so you can let it sit and it will firm up or.. I put mine in the freezer for a few min. to make it hard. if you don't live some were hot you can keep it in your bathroom if you have a problem with it being to soft keep it in the refrigerator... I hear you can use lavender oil as well. I have not tried it yet but...
The market was sleep on Sat. The music was soft and dreamy, the cotton trees were at seed and the air was filled with soft fluffy seeds , it was as if it was snowing on a hot day.
