Soap of the Month I sell a lot of this soap. So I thought it deserved a picture on the blog... This soap is great for gifts. It's for the kitchen, the Coffee in the soap eliminates odors like onions, and garlic. It still has the 20% Shea butter like all my soap, so not only does it remove odors but it doesn't dry out your skin. All natural, essential orange oil, no color added.

I was not at the Market yesterday, I needed some Family lovin ' so my little family packed up and went camping, and hiking this weekend... Loved every moment! Next week(June 13) more Berries and Twigs!
The market was sleep on Sat. The music was soft and dreamy, the cotton trees were at seed and the air was filled with soft fluffy seeds , it was as if it was snowing on a hot day.

Okay next Saturday the only new soap I'll have is the Lavender soap not the berries and twigs , they aren't ready yet. Plain Sandalwood Vanilla Berries and Twigs are soon to come, I'm making soap this afternoon too... so if there is soap you like let me know so I keep making it. The ones I don't sell well I might stop making unless someone likes it. Also the deodorant still using, still great, I'm going to post a variation for those who have sensitive skin. I haven't tried the lavender oil but as soon as I need to make more I will.

Laundry Soap

Today was the first day at the market! It was good weather , and I did well for the first day. If you are in Logan, every Saturday at Merlin Olsen Park there is the Gardeners Market , come and enjoy! It's were I'll be every Saturday I sell 20% Shae butter soap, Shae helps to not dry your skin out as much as other soaps (only $2.50 for a 4oz bar). Also, Laundry soap. For Laundry soap: 3 C. Borax 2 C. Soda Wash 2 C. Baking Soda 2 C. Laundry bar grated up Mix all in a bucket, it does about 90 loads of laundry use 1/8 c. - 1/4 c. per load. The baking soda should help soften your water but if you want to add oxi clean, that should help if your clothes are dingy. I know there are a lot of different ways to make laundry soap (and you can use my bars in all of them) but this is what I use and like. Let me know how you like it! You can find all this stuff were they sell laundry detergent at the store, the soda wash I haven't found at Wal -Mart but you can find it at Smith'

it works!

Well it's been 3 days and I don't stink ...(there are people around me who would let me know) I'm very surprised how well it works! You have to get use to using it the coconut oil that holds it all together, it melts with skin contact, so you don't need to put as much on as you do with store bought deodorant . so if you want to try it (and you should): 1/4 c. baking soda 1/4 c. cornstarch and 10 drops tea tree oil (it's cleansing) you can just use that in a powder or add 2 + Tab. of coconut oil for a stick ( I melted my coconut oil in the microwave) mix it all together smash it in to an old deodorant container... Coconut oil is hard at room temperature so you can let it sit and it will firm up or.. I put mine in the freezer for a few min. to make it hard. if you don't live some were hot you can keep it in your bathroom if you have a problem with it being to soft keep it in the refrigerator... I hear you can use lavender oil as well. I have not tried it yet but

Deodorant Stick

I found a recipe for a deodorant stick ...No Aluminum or any chemicals. I made some this afternoon, excited to try it! All natural stuff from the kitchen. So I'll have to let you know how it works!

Lavender Soap
