Lately I've been very motivated to be in the kitchen. I've always enjoyed making meals from scratch...baking and cooking. I'm also very practical and frugal. I've never been good at baking bread but try every now and then. I find it silly to buy my sandwich bread, I think it's just water oil flour, but I couldn't get it just right no one would really eat it...well for sandwiches. So I came across "The Bread Bible" I read through it and just took some of her techniques ...and the first loaf of bread was great! we could put jelly, and penutbutter on it with out the bread falling apart & it cut smooth....I used my own recipe but her techniques and it was great. So now I've got bread and the best thing is my husband says he'll eat it! So to go along with it I made cinnamon and sugar butter....heaven!
